Bamboo is Eco-Friendly

Some information about bamboo and bamboo yarn production:

• Bamboo is a very environmentally friendly plant: it grows extremely fast (up to 1 m per day) and requires no pesticides or artificial fertilisers. Being a grass, unlike trees, it can regrow new shoots a few years after harvesting.

• Bamboo, like other plants used for spinning fibres, undergoes chemical processing. Fibres are obtained using the viscose method.

• The resulting bamboo viscose yarn is then woven on looms into various fabrics such as terry cloth, plain weave, satin, jacquard patterns, and more.

• Our fabrics are produced on state-of-the-art looms using the highest-quality certified yarn.

• Un-dyed bamboo fabric has an ecru colour. Dyeing is carried out with top-quality dyes that preserve the natural properties of bamboo.

• All ecological and quality standards are followed, confirmed by the Oeko-Tex Standard – “Textiles Worth Trusting” certification.
